Saw the movie The Artist today and it was simply amazing. Wonderful. It deserved every Oscar it won last night.

People ask me all the time what my favorite photo is that I have taken. This is a hard question to answer because if I didn't like the picture it would have been deleted immediately. Most of the time more than half of my pictures from a particular shoot are deleted while editing. I am super critical of my work.

But if I had to answer....this would be it. Creepy. But I love it.

Night shoots are just so hard for me so I try to spend a lot of time practicing. Made my own bokeh last night for my lens that I just had to test out.

My girl Kali. God I love this kid. She is just way too awesome. She always reminds me of how much fun I had growing up. Last night we played Hungry Hungry Hippo which was by far my favorite game as a kid. And I loved how she cheated when I was not looking. Smart kid, eh?
